Sydney private cruises frequently asked questions
How Many People Can I Bring?
Silver Spirit can take a maximum of 40 guests. There’s no minimum number, you can hire the boat for just you if you want to!
Is there a min/max length of charter?
To hire our vessels for an hourly rate we require a minimum of 4 hours in December and 3 hours January to November.
Where do we go on our private cruise?
Where would you like to go? This is your charter, the skipper will tailor the charter to what you want to do. We can take in all the sights of Sydney, or we could find a secluded bay and drop anchor. Which leads onto the next question…
Can I go for a swim?
Yes. We know some great spots for a swim and in the long hot summer days a refreshing dip is just what the doctor ordered! If you want to swim, please bring towel and swimmers. Of course it does depend on the conditions on the day etc. and remember only enter the water if you are a confident swimmer and stay close to the vessel.
I am allergic to nuts. Can you cater for me?
We do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements and allergies, but we do need prior warning to prepare and order the correct items. All menus have vegetarian options and we can provide gluten free alternatives.
What if it rains?
The weather in Sydney can sometimes be unpredictable and all seasons happen in one day. What is predictable is you will enjoy your charter rain or shine. All our vessels have spacious indoor areas and are classified as all weather boats. The beauty of being inside Sydney Harbour is the water is not effected by waves or swell.
How do I pay?
We require a deposit to secure your chosen date/time. Fully payment is required 7 days prior to your charter. We accept transfers or credit cards (3% surcharge on card payments).
Can I do a bar tab?
Of course, if you’ve got a group but not many drinkers you can have a consumption bar. Just pay for what you use, either as a group tab or individually.
Do you do bucks/hens?
Yes. We are a family owned an operated business, therefore we expect your events to be of the same nature. We have a strict no nudity policy which extends to all members of the group.
Do you have wheel chair access?
No. While entry to our vessels is via a ramp, moving around the vessel involves steps. Our toilets are located down stairs.
Can I bring Children?
Yes, but we do have a few rules; children must be supervised at ALL times. They must not run anywhere on the boat. If they are on the top deck/outside areas and under 12 years old, they are required by law to wear lifejackets. Please note a child of any age is included as a person within the max 40 person capacity.
Can I smoke?
We do allow smoking in designated areas onboard Silver Spirit.
